Peterjojo
Does anyone have any idea where to get a wiring harness? I found this one. It says it won’t work but the connectors look the same.
Dzimm
I find a lot of Jeep parts on Amazon say they don't work but do. Look through the reviews and Q&A to see if anyone mentions what they used it on. Most of the time I'll find someone used it on the year of Jeep I'm looking to use it on. Regardless you can hardwire it if the plug is different.
AZJeff
Since you probably will not find a Comanche-specific harness, I would just hard wire (with solder and heat-shrink tubing) a trailer connector into the back of the vehicle. Stay away from butt-splices, unless you can keep them from getting water into them from under the vehicle. They tend to oxidize and become intermittent when exposed to a moist environment.
