CEThomas Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 Looks like I have to switch out the 4.0 in the MJ soon. Not sure if it's worth fixing when I have a spare that I can fix. We made the switch to a heavy oil to see if the rod / valve sound would go away. Well now it sounds good the first 30sec then it starts and after about 60 sec it sounds like a old sewing machine with a bent needle.
