CEThomas Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Looks like I have to switch out the 4.0 in the MJ soon. Not sure if it's worth fixing when I have a spare that I can fix. We made the switch to a heavy oil to see if the rod / valve sound would go away. Well now it sounds good the first 30sec then it starts and after about 60 sec it sounds like a old sewing machine with a bent needle. We also found water in the oil when we went to change it :cry:
Geonovast Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Stroke it! I was originally gonna do a standard 4.0 swap into mine, but I was talked into building a stroker since I was gonna be rebuilding my extra 4.0 anyway.
