Bulto
So the 10A fuse for dash lights/running lights/buzzer for having the key in on my 90' Comanche blows when I insert the key. If I put a fresh fuse in and turn the lights on without the key in the dash lights and running lights work, the second I put the key in the fuse pops. So would this mean whatever makes the buzzing noise for leaving the key in is causing this? Or is the ignition bad or what, what should I look for? Ωhm
Eliminate Chime Module (CM) as possible cause. Disconnect CM. Does your problem go away? This test could cost you one (1) fuse.
Pete M
do you have a manual transmission? is there any evidence of the master leaking and dribbling down into the fuse box (where it deforms the plastic and corrodes the connections)?
