87Chief
I bought a new fuel tank and sending unit as my old tank had a hole in it and pump didn't work. I bought the tank and sending unit off RockAuto. The hose connectors on the sending unit had O-rings already on them, but attached on the connectors was a bag of O-rings (2). Am I supposed to put those O-rings INSIDE the fuel hoses (pressure and return)? Or are those just extra O-rings. 1992 c1500 5.7l 2wd Thanks
jdog
my first guess is extra but would like to see what you got, if you could supply a picture it would help
gogmorgo
I can't speak for the way the Chevy fuel lines work, but generally quick disconnects have a couple o-rings in the connector. Sometimes it's easy to lose them as well.
