OIl leak at base of oil dip stick filler tube 96 block

Leaking oil at the base of the filler tube Anyone know if there is O ring on the base of the oil fill tube and is just a standard o ring I could get out of kit or is it special size . And no its not from the filter adapter or dizzy.

I just found an o-ring the fit over the tube just a general o-ring any hardware store

I don't think there is supposed to be an o-ring there. I recall that junction being a moderate press-fit.

 

Either way, I pulled the tube, smeared on high-temp silicone and stuck it back in. Not a leak since.
