I think it would be better to stick a 1/8 NPT Schrader valve in there for quick and easy fuel pressure testing like the below. That's what that plug is for anyhow, a diagnostic port. EDIT: To answer a PM, The gauge wasn't leaking fuel; the damping fluid inside the meter was seeping out a bit around the lens.
