2015: So I had a 96 XJ sport that had rusted out and the engine blew on me, it had a salvage title so it wasn't worth fixing but i just re built the AW4. So I went a searching for a MJ on craigslist to do a 4x4 swap and found one in Houston. The guy wanted $1200 for it but I talked talked him into trading 2 guns for it. I loaded up a car dolly and went to get it.

 

 

It was a 2wd 5sp so i had a bit of custom work to do

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

with everything installed i had one big problem... my MJ was a 87 and couldnt wire the TCM so i had to figure something out. Ra-Design makes a winter shifter to manually control the AW4 so i grabbed one!

 

 

 

with that out out of the way new gauges were next. i decided to go full race digital

next i wasnt sure what i wanted to do... so i said screw it ima put a blower on it! i bought a eaton m90 from a friend of mine and started planning

 

 

 

 

 

well thanks to Hurricane Harvey it got put on hold for a bit. once i started again i booked

 

 

i came up with a better mount and got the right belt

I got a special fuel and timing controller installed so i can tune it a little 

 

 

and fixed a few minor plumbing problems leading me to now
