disc brakes?

ok i have started a project jeep and am wondering what it would take to put disks on the back axle it has drums so far? :eek:

I almost think it's easier and probably cheaper to just swap in an 8.8 with disks on it. Then you get a much stronger axle + disks. But I guess it depends on your axle..which if it's a 35 I wouldn't throw any money into it anyway. A 44 is a completley different story though. Just my opinion

95-01 Explorer 8.8s are far easier to find (and easier to find in good condition) and come in the typical Jeep ratios (3.55/3.73/4.10).
