it has a 92 4.0 and and 87 4 speed tranny

:mad: ok i have an 87 comanche i have posted pics of it and i am almost finished with the project but the D@$% piloot bearing for the clutch is holding me up the one for a 92 is too big for the output shaft on my tranny but the 87 pilot bearing won't fit in the engine so WTF should i do??? is there a place i can give dimensions and get a specialized bearing made does anyone know???? :headpop:

Haha unfortunetly I have to agree. It is pretty easy to remove paint from a window with a razor + goo gone, but that's just more work for him. :roll: Maybe he's planning on ditching the doors? I like that idea. :brows: Truck is definetly coming along though. I don't know one damn thing about fixing major body rust like that other than cutting it out like cancer... Kudos bro :cheers: wow...it's alot easier to put dish soap on the windows and wash it off afterwards? at least that's what i do and it's a mud runner so i really won't see the paint at all... thanks though guys and yeah she is comming along... hopefully in another month she will be done

lift it maybe axle swap but i dunno yet it's gonna be a mud runner... the cab corners and running boards are gone so prolly weld those up this winter and paint them and suck but i dunno yet

thanks guys...so far i got the engine almost ready just have to modify it a bit and the floors are complete so i need to put a lift on it and get my motor in it... will post more pics when i get them

either upgrade or downgrade tires? cuz i know another guy that has 33's for free too.... the only thing is they are a lil less aggressive so maybe i'll have to do that

:cheers: well i'm in a 4x4 club so we do alot of mudding and trail riding plus we have a park here in hart michigan that we run too mainly every other weekend unless it's a special occasion i will have to post pics of it so u guy see what i need the axles for then maybe u guys can give me a yes or no answer on wether i should swap axles cuz i really have no idea what a 30/35 is capable of...

ok i hear bad stuff about the dana 30/35 should i replace? if i do it won't be for awhile and what is the most i should pay for a dana44 ford 9 combo?

went and got a different engine knocked the pistons out that thing was froze tighter than a virgin...

anyone got a 44 for sale?

well the guy i bought it from said it was "too big" but i wouldn't trust this redneck farther than i could throw him and he's about 220lbs so i aint throwin him anywhere the carrier bolts are mia so the gears ar just chillin outside of the pig so i dunno and it was a d35 in it so

i'm swapping the 35 cuz i got the axle free and it's in great shape the carrier on the axle under it now is the wrong size so it's all jacked and i think i figured out the engine i just need to swap everything off my old one to the new one all i'm having problems on now is the floor boards they were completely rotted out so i am haveing to do a $#!& ton of patch work...it sucks

ok i am building this 87 comanche the motor was junk... so i got one from the junkyard that runs it's a 1992 4.0 my question is what all do i have to switch over? from my other engine i already did the fan pulley and alternator +the a/c eliminator anything else? intake manifold? power steering pump? also i am swapping a dana 35 in the rear and the one i have is a spring under the other axle looks like a spring over but the shock mounts are different?!?!?! what do i do guys?

ok i have started a project jeep and am wondering what it would take to put disks on the back axle it has drums so far? :eek:

anyone know what to do to get my pistons un froze? i put some lube down there and already took off the oil pan and checked everything to make sure it was the pistons and it is... the truck has been sitting 5 years so any suggestions?
