Just pulled the duct tape off, yes they are connected by a metal crimp. You're telling me this is how it came from the factory??

LOL, I was saying that in sarcastic disbelief. Makes me question less of the "splices" 'that seem to be in my wiring though, at least in the engine bay. Wow.

Yea, I'm with you on them splices. Wait till you find the 6 or 7 wire splices.
