Omarmartinez33 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 I researched everywhere for a aluminum valve cover and all I can find is this plastic piece of crap. Can someone provide me links and proper guidance to find one because it still leaks through the plastic no matter what gasket I put on it.

How will this work when both of mine are on top
Swampy Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 I have a 2.5l as well and I got my aluminum valve cover from a 2.5l wrangler. You are going to need longer bolts as the factory ones for the plastic cover aren't long enough and as far as the ventilation works this how I did mine below. Here is mine after I painted and installed the valve cover the ventilation towards the front/side is where your vacuum line goes and the one in the back/top is where the blow-by goes to your intake but I just put a little filter on mine. Not the best because you do get some little bit of oil on the cover, and any water crossings could end up with water in the oil Here this link has the size of the bolts you need http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/engine/1701-jeep-2-5l-i-4-engine-plastic-valve-cover-fix/
