it's worth the suffering IMO. you will get from A to B much faster...

 

 

as you wish though. I literally know nothing about the 2.5 and 2.8 autos...excpet thhey're pigs and i wouldn't want one

The avaliable trannies aren't great either.

 

 

Do the 4.0 swap with a matching AW4. Life will be much better.

You can put an AW4 behind a 2.5......you just have to locate the uber-rare bellhousing, and you need the correct torque converter.
