at the moment you need to host the pics at an outside website.  but we're in the of a software upgrade so hopefully in a little bit you can just upload them here.   :crossfingers:

Thanks Pete.   I used to use Photo Bucket but gave up on that a few years ago.   Given the current PB situation I'm glad I did!   A couple of sites I'm on either act as a host ( The Garage Journal - https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/member.php?u=29786) or allow you to simply copy photos from your files ( Jeep Wrangler TJ Forum - https://wranglertjforum.com/ ).   I have no idea how these things work but they seem easy to use.

Thanks guys.   It's in great shape and my plan is to drive it daily along with my other Jeeps.   I have a TJ and LJ that are in about the same condition and I drive them year round ... I love driving in the snow.   My XJ (above) is a project car - new floors, etc. and it's coming along nicely.   The TJ and LJ get oiled every year at Krown Rust Proofing plus I apply it as well as I work on them.   The MJ will get done too.  This one is a 2WD model and I plan to convert it to 4WD.  Other than that I'll likely do a 2" lift and put Moab wheels with 245's on it.     I'll use it for camping, hauling bikes and kayaks and daily driving.

 

It's hard to believe but I am the 7th owner, the other 6 having lived only about 25 miles from each other.   The 2 and a half hour drive home to where I live was its longest trip in some time.   The only modifications are an upgraded radio and the addition of the cleats on the box , which are starting to grow on me.   One problem is that it was originally red and was re-sprayed to black.   It was done years ago and they did a great job on the doors and jams but under the hood is still red.   I'll change all of that to black as I work on it.   All of the logos were sprayed with a rubberized paint.   I've already "rubbed" them back to chrome.

MJs rot from the inside-out.  if order to have any chance of the oil to work, you need to oil inside the entire uniframe, inside the rockers and cab corners, and between the inner and outer bedside (especially right above the rear tires).  just spraying the underside does very little to beat salt.  :(

I've been using Krown annually on all of my cars since the late '80s and have never had a rust problem.   One thing I do on used cars that I acquire is blow/vacuum/wash out the frame before I send it into Krown.  I basically get it as clean inside as I can before they spray it.   Once done you don't have to do that again.
