Remote starter switch

1989 4 L. Manual 5 spd.,  what is the correct way to hook up a Remote Starter Switch?

You can mount a momentary switch on the dash.

You can use a handheld momentary switch. 

 

12v to the small post on the starter. 

 

Or, you can use a 4' test wire with an alligator clip at each end, attach clip to small post, touch other end/clip to the pos post of the battery. This is a test for a bad NSS that takes just seconds to perform.

Hook 1 cable to the 12v post, another to green wire that goes to the starter

 

just make sure you use a switch that won`t accidently trigger itself with vibrations or one you can accidently trigger while workign on the engine

Thank you, the green wire did the job.  Have a Bosch FIX 7853 Remote Starter Switch.
