1990 Automatic Leaking on Driver's side

Today I fill my tranny and fluid ran out of a round disk on the driver's side of the tranny.

 

When I pushed on the round item fluid poured out when i released it fluid only dripped out.

 

It has the 4 speed Jap tranny.

 

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you pull the pan drain plug, drain the pan then fill it up through the dipstick tube? How many quarts did you put in?

Are you talking dips tick tube. Or where the cooler line connects to the trans?

I wish I had my truck here at work to look at that...maybe someone can go outside and check theirs out.  Not a common leak spot IIRC.  Hornbrod is likely on the right track...too much fluid?!
