Matt S.
I'm about to do a 4.5" lift and adding 33s. Was expecting new brake lines and extended brake lines. Are they a nesesity or a recommendation. I'm trying to run as stock as I can for the first month or so on the new lift. If I need them I'd rather get that before the lift and get it out of the way. Any ideas?
Eagle
IMHO longer brake lines are necessary with that much lift.
DirtyComanche
Yeah, you will need them. You can drop the bracket in the front a bit, but not that much.
88whitemanche
If you want to go the budget route, Here's a link that explains different extended brake lines for lifted jeeps, I went with the Chevy 1500 brake lines and have plenty of slack.... http://www.cherokeetech.com/VBull/showthread.php?1477-Over-the-counter-Extended-brake-Lines
