Help my truck won't go into gear. ( reverse)

In the morning my Comanche won't go into reverse. I can roll in down the driveway and after I get into first gear it works ok. I have had some trouble the last few weeks getting into first gear. It's like stuck in neutral and it is very hard to go in gear. But after I drive for a little it seems to be fine. Any ideas on what it could be and the possible price I might be looking at?

Can you shift into reverse before you start the engine? If so, when you start the engine (with the clutch peddle depressed, of course) does the truck want to move, or does it sit in place?

Do you have the BA10/5? do you have any leaking hydraulic fluid from the clutch? The internal slave tend to leak some times. A few months ago my internal slave was leaking a small bit causing this to happen, had to replace it. It happens even on the AX15 with internal slave

Best bet if their old (master/slave), replace both with new, and sometimes required for parts warranty

Is the oil level in the trans OK?  Most likely it is the hydo throw out bearing. Try bleeding it before replacing it,
