Recommended Posts

A while back i was wanting an 1:10 scale RC Crawlers. I kept seeing these cool little RC Jeeps around on the internet and i wanted one. So For my birthday last year Katelyn bought me a Rolling SCX-10 Honcho Chassis.  My cousin also chipped in to provide the motor, tires, Shell and a couple other accessories.

So, Honcho 12.3" wheelbase and a Wrangler Shell

Looking good!

I have to ask, why did you paint the inside then the outside of the shell?

I painted the inside silver, and the outside Blue. This way when I get a good scratch it looks like it took it to the metal. Just gives it the warn in look.

On the "First run with the tires" photo, If you look above the orange side marker on the drivers side you can see where I chipped the paint and the silver is showing through.

  • 1 year later...

I used to have a 1/10 scale bronco. This was back in 2012 when I was 14 and before I got into real cars, I kinda miss the little rc scale crawler, It sure was lots of fun. I want another one but I have a jeep to finish first
