Rockfrog
Ok, might be a weird one here ... What effect would using a second main, cut down, and inserted upside down have on the stock leaf pack? I'm trying to increase load capacity slightly (say about halfway between MT and stock), and hoping to lower slightly (maybe 2", but I don't want to go up at all). I have a few pairs of Cherokee and Comanche leaves to chose bits from. Thanks for any help. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
mikekaz1
putting an mj leaf upside down would look bizarre in my opinion. and if you were actually able to secure it smooth to the full main leaf id imagine there would be so much tension that it would ride horrendously. putting a cut down main in the normal orientation would probably increase payload some. and shouldn't effect the ride height at all since the leaf pack is under the axle and the stationary spring arch is the same still so I wouldn't believe youd gain any spring lift
89eliminator
while it might work for a certain amount of time, it will eventually wear out and be useless.
