Newbie question/sanity check

Does an 1988 Jeep Comanche pioneer have an engine bay fuse box? I'm tracking the one under the dash but it looks like mine is miss the engine bay one if that is even a thing

There is a bank of three or four (depending on options) relays under the hood of the '88 MJ, but no fuse box/panel.

plus fusible links (short wires designed to burn out to protect stuff downstream).  there are a few over by the starter relay.
