87MJTIM
I looked on Rockauto.com for '88 BA10 and '90 AX15, both internal slaves. RA has different part numbers listed. I would say they are different.
Marine1Texas
My Ax15 has external slave, we did it when we installed in. however before the swap I had the internal slave on the BA10. Why not convert to external slave then only if you need to replace clutch you have to pull the tranny! They have many write up for it to be done. Some directions here http://comancheclub.com/topic/33806-ax-15-internal-external-slaves/ this is a good write up here http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/ax-15-internal-external-slave-cylinder-clutch-line-write-up-592098/
MancheKid86
thanks Tim off to the wreckers to complete my external ax15 noriyori_kudo ive done the ba10/5 to ax15 external slave and 4wd conversion before, i have a pre bled assy and 3 spare clutches and fly wheels but my issue is, i gave my external bell housing and release fork to another jeeper before i started on my 7th comanche i didnt want to spend more money than i needed thats all, external bell housings are hard to come by around these parts, LOTS of jeepers doing the same thing (I'm actually making a franken ax15 from 3 transmissions, and a np231 from 3 transfercases, gotta love free parts)
