Tank4L Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I see the drain plug and fill plug but the fill plug is out of reach for a bottle of lube and i don't have the right tool to get it off. any tips?
offroader461 Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 i fill mine through the shifter tower...i got quite fast at taking it all apart lol
UNL1MTD Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 if its a BA 10 the right tool is a square key. The correct size is 8mm. I used a piece of 5/16th stock and filled it down until it fit. Then I bent it in a 90 degree angle to make a key tool out of it. Works good. I filled mine using a suction gun.
Oizarod115 Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 BA10 i grinded down a 3/8th inch 3" ratchet extension to the right size, put it on a wrench works great. fill using a oil can from auto parts store just can, flexy metal tube with tip, and pump lever. cost me like 10 bucks i think
ejndssn Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 i did the same as offroader fill from the stop with the recommend amount +or- couple of oz. est. :brows:
