Fernando87mj Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 How much flex is normal , I'm getting some new tires installed and while the mj was in the air the passenger door was hard but not impossible to open/close , should I be concerned or is it normal ? It's stock ride height and has no rust/cancer anywhere .
Lee21490 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 It will flex a bit. I've had it pinned out so much you couldnt open the door at all. Was it on a lift? that should have lifted it straight up? Shouldnt have flexed at all.
Eagle Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 It doesn't appear that the front lift pads are placed where the lift points are located on the chassis. Small wonder it flexed a bit.
1stDeuce Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I used to lift my full frame S-10 like that... And the doors got hard to open. And that's a full frame truck... The forward arms need to be under the control arm brackets ideally... But I wouldn't worry. Generally there's a little flex, and if your doors were hard to open, it at least means your door hingers are probably tight. :)
