glundblad
(Sorry - no longer for sale. Thanks for the interest and kind words) I am considering selling my 1987 Comanche. $6,500 firm. It has 4.0/5speed with D44/LSD. It runs, drives and shifts well with no known problems. I am the 1st and 3rd owner. It is located in NW Indiana and probably has around 87,000 miles (it is in storage about an hour from my house). http://comancheclub.com/topic/20543-comanche-of-the-month-mar-2010-glundblads-1987/ http://comancheclub.com/topic/13105-comanche-chief-pics/ Deviations from the photos above include a slight 3/4" lift in the front due to OME front coils. Fey bumper replaced with Factory bumper. The following things are wrong with it:The cowl between the windshield and hood has a couple of pieces broken off (passenger side and visible from the areal shot in COTM above) The AC does not blow cold There is a scratch about the size of a silver dollar on the tailgate. The interior courtesy lights are missing. Here are the things that are good with it: The paint and body are in like new condition It has never been wheeled or abused. Factory radio doesn't work well but NOS replacement is included. All gauges and shift lights, etc work as expected. The interior is factory black and in excellent shape. Carpet had floor mats since new. Bed, fenders, doors were all replaced with rust free replacements. Body was professionally redone. Rims were refinished. Restoration and Tires have less than 2,000 miles on them. Old Man Emu (OME) shocks and front coils. It never saw winter after the restore and minimal winters prior to restore. Documentation is included. Older Leather XJ buckets are installed (seats do not tilt forward). Very comfortable and in excellent condition. (pic located at the end of the COTM thread above) Spare parts included:Factory black bench seat. Factory Cloth Bench Seat. Freshly painted spare factory bumper. Freshly Painted spare Fey bumper. Black full center console. NOS factory radio. Full size Spare and rim to match the rest of the truck. A couple of gauge clusters Other misc Please don't ask to sell the parts individually. I would like to keep them with the truck. There have been no modifications to the truck except for the seats and new springs. Also the brake proportioning valve was removed. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Automan2164
I just can't believe you're thinking of selling it! I would love to care take for your truck. I say care take, because it would never be truly "mine". It would always be yours, since you bought it originally, and restored it to full luster. I'd only be renting it so you could be the 1/3/5th owner. Rob

budwisr
 This would make a great companion to my original owner 87 Colorado Red Wrangler. If I could only sell my other Comanche quick....
