wutangwisdom Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 So I went to start the manche up and all I get is rapid clicks when I turn the key I was thinking its the starter. I keep trying to turn it over and eventually it stops clicking and my lights have a yellow tint . also my positive terminal gets hot. Battery or starter? 1989 Eliminator Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 If it was your CPS sensor, the starter would still turn but the engine would not fire. Definatly seems like a starter motor but I would also check all your grounds. (side of engine block by oil dipstick, firewall, battery terminals...)
