Kickinmule
Can we use the Ruff Stuff 3/8" weld on brackets and Napa Chevy front calipers to convert rear D44 to disc brakes? Anyone Runnin this setup on their MJ?

mnkyboy
The brackets would likely need modified unless you could find a suitable rotor,i just used basically the same bracket to put disc on a Ford 9" and i had to cut the bracket down to work with a smaller diameter rotor. On my old D44 i ended up just making brackets and used D30 calipers and rotors.
87Warrior
I used the RuffStuff D60 bolt on brackets for a D61 rear end. The 3/4 ton Chevy rotors are tall and pretty darn thick, and they are 8x6.5 bolt pattern. Great for full width swaps or bigger wheels. You might be able to fit a Ford Explorer rotor on to the rear axle. It is larger than a D30 rotor and would probably be a better match to the Chevy calipers. Of course you will have no parking brake unless you source those funny Eldorado calipers.
mnkyboy
We used F150 rotors on the 9" and still had to cut the brackets down to make them work.
Kickinmule
Chatted with the Ruff Stuff crew and not enough pieces to the puzzle for our D44's to make this a great option.
