Herada12 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 So when I bought my MJ ot was not running. Come to find out the guy that swapped the AX15 for the BA10 used the wtong flywheel. So today I got my correct flywheel and tore the tranny back out to swap flywheels. Upon inspection, the crankshaft has no pilot bearing, just a brass bushing. It seems to have the same inside diameter (3/4") as the input shaft on my ax15. So does that mean there is no needle bearing? Or is something majorly wrong here? Any help would be great. Ive been searching for a few hrs with no luck.
mnkyboy Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Either a bushing or a bearing is fine, as long as its the right size you should be good to go.
Eagle Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Don't pack it, but wipe some good wheel bearing grease or something similar on the ID of the bushing and the OD of the tranny input shaft.
