JeepsOLot
How do I fix this? The driver side back corner is hitting the cowl, but, the passenger side isn't. Image Not Found Jerry

Strokermjcomanche
How does the hood line up with the fender / header/ cowl? It may be as simple as loosening the 2 13mm bolts and moving the hood forward on the drivers side .If all the gaps are even around the hood I'd add more shims in between the hinge and hood on the drivers side. JeepsOLot
I just closed the hood for the night, both sides are equal both toward the header and the cowl. Side to side is dead on. I think that hinge is messed up. Funny thing is, the '86 has the same issue! Jerry

JeepsOLot
Do you think it's that simple? I hope so!! Had to take a break from it last night, family obligations. Will be getting on it tonight. Jerry

JeepsOLot
Yep, Pete, it was that simple!! The hood really flexes in that area, apparently. Sprayed some oil on it, and moved the hood open and closed a few times, it freed up!! Thanks! Jerry
