KennyK Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I have a 88 w/ a 4.0 and 5 speed based on what info I can find they droped the BALL 10/5 mid year 88 fo the the AX 15 how can I tell witch tranny I have?
Rockfrog Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Switchover year was 89 you have the Peugeot BA10/5 ... If you don't treat it like a Ferrari, or generally abuse the trans, it'll live a while.
MJRemi Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 It's also a good idea to compare yours to pictures of BA/10 and AX15 incase a previous owner already did a swap. I know there is a post on here that clearly shows the two side by side and Google Images should be helpful as well.
