Drop Brackets

With a SOA how many use a T-case drop bracket? Just wondering if I should get one prior to sticking everything back in.

Ummm, none I think. At least no one I can remember. With an extra foot of wheelbase, MJs don't have the driveshaft angles that the XJ has at that height.

drop brackets for a t-case are a simple creature.

 

basically 4 thick metal washers that go between your transmission crossmember and the frame, effectively lowering the @$$ end of the tranny and t-case however thick they are.

I picked one up for 5 bucks not sure I plan on using it, but it was more of a saftey net just incase... I'd rather have it and not need it for 5 bucks, than need it and not have it.
