Dom U Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Hey guys I noticed this morning there's a spot where four vaccum lines hook up. The green one is totally cooked and is no longer connected. Is there a part number for this line? Also what's it going to cause my 4H works great my 4L works just a little stiff to get it engaged. yxmj Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 Vacuum has nothing to do with the operation of the t-case.....the t-case switch is activated when you engage the 4wd and that causes a vacuum that engages your CAD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gogmorgo Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 I wouldn't worry too much about that line. If your CAD still works, you're good. If it doesn't still work, lock it permanently. As xymj says, the vacuum crap on the t-case is just to engage the CAD. If your CAD is locked permanently, you have no need for the vacuum... although the 4x4 light will quit working without the vacuum hooked up.
