Jeep Driver
What year is your gauges? Get the sensor for that year and install it.
Jacob Ochs
What year is your gauges? Get the sensor for that year and install it. the year of the gauge cluster is 1990. But the problem is that there is only one wire going to my existing coolant temp sensor and the 1990 is a 2 prong.
Jeep Driver
The two prong is the ECU sender which does not apply to you. The single wire sender is the gauge sender........you need one for a '90 with GAUGES.

Jeep Driver
You may have to splice in the new plug for the new sender..........whatever it takes to make it work........

tugalo
Go to a junkyard and find a Cherokee or an early Dakota with the one wire sensor.
