Which red color does my truck have?

I need some touch-up paint for my 88 Comanche Chief.

The truck has apparently been re-painted in the past.

 

 

 

 

I'm sure that this is a Jeep color because I've seen it on other Jeeps.

 

Any help is appreciated

It's Red.

 

...but seriously folks, Duplicolor has different vehicle maker paints...like Toyota Frost White, or Ford Ice Blue etc.  You might get lucky going into a store that carries a large Duplicolor stock.  Otherwise I'd take it to a paint/body shop and see if they can match the color and hook you up with a couple mixed cans of the right color, just a thought.

Yup. Be skeptical of the touch up paint. I ordered a can from jeepsareus and the dang spray was pink!

 

When I had my truck painted, the body shop man told me the color was more costly to mix due to the pigments it uses.

my 89 is also colorado red

Look on the Body ID plate on the firewall for the paint code then match it up online.

For '88-'90 the plates are located on the firewall above the brake boster.
