I idle around 250rpm...Going camping next week and doing some slight changes before we leave Saturday morning. 88ComancheMitch Posted October 7, 2014 Author Share Posted October 7, 2014 So, the TPS for the 99 throttle body is different from the 88. So I had to make an adapter that makes the 88 TPS match up to the 99. So I have a blade that attaches to the TPS on the 99 sensor, and "catches" the blade of the 88 sensor. You should adjust the TPS per my instructions in post 8 of my Tips, after making sure the throttle butterfly stop screw is set correctly as in post 14. I don't have a late model throttle body hanging around so I can see how they're set up or I could be of more help. What IAC connector are you using and how is it wired?
