Torque converter

Fixxen to do a 4wd. swap and want to install a new torque converter and tranny mount when I do.Was wondering what brand is recomended by you guys thats done this swap and also what price range should I expect for these parts?  Trans. will be an  AW4 Thanks

Something wrong with the current converter you have?

 

Guess if I needed one, I'd just buy one from the parts store for a jeep.

 

Diesel truck on the other had would be a different story.

In my 32 years of driving and working on cars/trucks I have never personally known anyone who's TC went bad.

 

If you are wanting to change your stall speed.....to what and why?

 

At 1100 rpm you better have some balls in the lower end, and then it will want to crawl out from under your brakes. Anything over 2200 rpm you will be at 3000rmp coming out of 1st gear.

I like yalls reply,I was just thinking a 26 year old T.C. the time to replace it would be before I do the tranny swap,But I am on a budget and can use the $ elsewhere.Thanks.
