floundering
I'm not even done with my conversion and today my fuel pump went out. I used the pump from my 97 and put it in place of the factory pump. It didn't really fit all that well as it was much smaller and the inlet was offset. I'm guessing the factory 87 Comanche pump wouldn't have enough pressure for the newer engine even without the ballast resistor. I'm thinking of a Walbro GSS340 to replace it but I don't have the old one to compare it to and haven't pulled out the current one. Anyways, what are you all using for your conversions? 88ComancheMitch
I have a 98 motor in mine with the neon 4 hole injectors. I'm pretty sure my pump is stock, and it seems to run fine.
cody4359
I have (don't quote me on exact year) 94-97 dodge dakota tank and fuel pump/sender. Reads accurate with my 97+ dash and i believe its a 26 gallon tank.
