BryceOJ
On a cool rainy day I tried using my heat and it didn't get hot at all. Blew cool air non stop and didn't get warmer. I recently have flushed out my coolant system. Put in a new water pump, radiator, and thermostat due to an overheating problem. When I flushed it, it flushed out fine and didn't seem like the heater is clogged. So far I have suspected the heater control valve thing. The cylindrical part is all rusted around so I think it may be stuck closed or something. Can someone help me out on how to manually open it? Or how to tell if it's opened or closed? The problem may have arose due to vacuum issues I have already as well since it operates from vacuum. How can I check if it's opened or not? Or what else could it be? 88ComancheMitch
Pass side floorboard. Above left foot area, there is the blender door. Research that. You might find your problem is the blender door is broke/the cable isn't functioning correctly.

yxmj
Just by-pass the heater control valve (search on here it has been discussed a few times) You will need a couple of hose couples and some clamps if you want to ust the original hoses....or 2 new full length hoses. . :MJ 1: . Eagle
One other thing after all that cooling system work: Now that you've been driving it, check the coolant level. If it's not pretty close to being filled, coolant doesn't flow through the heater core.
