Where's my AC fan?

My Jeep doesn't have AC on the build sheet. The AC doesn't work. It does have an AC heater control in the cab, which seems broken to me. The AC compressor clutch looks like a factory wiring install to me. I don't see an electric fan though. That doesn't seem right. I found a green and black 2-wire plug under my air box that I'm hoping goes to the missing fan. Is that correct? Let me know please.

Are you wondering if your Jeep is supposed to have AC? Are other AC components present (condenser, dryer)? I ask only because it seems like an interesting situation!

Thanks for the photos. My Jeep looks like it was built with AC to me but the option code isn't on my build sheet. The firewall is punched for the AC from the factory, the wiring harness looks factory, etc. It just doesn't work and the fan is missing. My Alldata subscription lapsed and I don't have a factory manual, so I need to remedy that.

isn't the rad hose supposed to route behind the AC compressor?  looks like someone started a conversion and then stopped.

The rad hose is aftermarket. I haven't worked on many Cherokees, didn't think anything of it.

 

Edit: I just looked at photos on Rock Auto, looks like that's a non-AC rad hose. I'll get it out of there. Thanks Pete.
