Bucket Seats And Center Counsole

ok so i have been looking around the fourms and i don't know if i havent been searching the right thing or what but i am trying to find a diy or something to make sure i am installing my bucket seats and center counsole correctly.i have a 87 mj and i have seats and center console from a 91 xj please help

You either can grab a set of comanche bucket seat brackets or you can adapt your bench seat brackets to for your bucket seats there is a DIY thread about this....

when I did mine, I got brackets from a 2 door xj and seats can come from a 4 door or 2 I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter. the 2 door brackets bolt right in which made it nice, or if you can find Comanche brackets that works too.

Really? The 84-93 XJ bucket seat brackets are the same for both 2DR and 4DR. And neither will "bolt right in" to an MJ without modification because the floor pan is completely different. The XJ bucket seats however will bolt to MJ seat brackets with no problems.

4Dr XJ Seats usually don't have the Seat Backs that "Tilt" Forward,

Whereas the 2dr XJ Seats need to, in order to allow access to the Back Seats.

To bad you aren't close to me I'm stripping out a near mint set of buckets from my 86 to go to a bench
