Please Help Interior Swap

Hey guys I know it been a while I've been busy with work but I have a 87 MJ and I found a 91 xj for 400 bucks and I just couldn't resist I am looking for a build thread that can help me do the dash. If anyone can help please I will take all the help I can get thanks .

The guy does it on an 89 but it will be the same for any XJ older than 96.

To the OP, you can have the dash out in 30 minutes if you've got the basic tools listed.

Getting the dash out is easy, getting it back in is a pain..

Ya I already have most of the dash out I don't have a rivet gun thought. Thanks though I will def check it out.

Humm... are you going heavy duty and changing out plastic parts?  I found on my 87 no rivet gun is required.  Its all screws and bolts.  The only rivets I saw was holding the plastic to the sheet metal frame; which is removed as a single unit.

Swapping the VIN tag maybe?

ya sorry i didnt look at the page you sent before i wrote that and found out it all came out in one piece so that is what i am going to start/continue on doing today and through out the weekend!!!
