cruiser54 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 did all cruisers tips tps is like dead on In that case it's time to replace your O2 sensor. I agree.
MuddFoot Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 i struggled with this for months went through all your tips new grounds all new sensors o2 tps cps coil dist fuel pump ect. can anyone guess what caused this? cost me less than 5cents to fix. runs great ive been driving it everywhere for 3 days now.
MuddFoot Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 egr. i messed with everything but it pulled the vac hose off and boom runs perfect. but look at all the spare parts i have laying around now.
cruiser54 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 So, the EGR solenoid is/was not closing completely, or the ECU was not giving it the correct signal.
MuddFoot Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 i changed it with one i had here and it was still messing up. so i left it pluged in and unhooked the main vac line and plug the line if you unplug the solenoid it runs even worse i guess it has to be plugged in no matter what. so the electrical has to stay plugged in and the vac disconnected and it runs perfect. so I'm going to start cleaning up the truck and getting ready to paint.
