MuddFoot Posted May 17, 2014 Share Posted May 17, 2014 89 jeep mj idles fine touch the gas sputters then dies sometimes. driving it it will be fine for a while the i stop and it sputters then dies. when i unplug the o2 sensor runs perfect. is this the problem or should i look elsewhere? MuddFoot Posted October 23, 2014 Author Share Posted October 23, 2014 i changed it with one i had here and it was still messing up. so i left it pluged in and unhooked the main vac line and plug the line if you unplug the solenoid it runs even worse i guess it has to be plugged in no matter what. so the electrical has to stay plugged in and the vac disconnected and it runs perfect. so I'm going to start cleaning up the truck and getting ready to paint.
