kioti
New to the fourm. Been reading a lot of the other builds thought I would share mine. I have built several cjs, yjs, and a tj. This is the first mj. I also build custom bumpers and off road armour for anyone that needs it. I got this comanche from a good friend. It was stolen from their driveway and then crashed it into a convience store. The whole front end was smashed in and the unibody was really rusted. I had the hood and grille from a previous build. I rebuilt the uniframe by cutting the bottom out and then put 3x3 .25 wall tube in the subframe. Then I installed a Dana 44 front and Ford 9" rear. Radius arm front suspension and leaf spring rear. 35" tires

yellaheep
I'll have to be a party pooper and say nay-nay to that front. That's just wrong. Want a YJ, buy a YJ. Poor MJ. :(
neohic
I remember this truck being for sale at one point. Iowa, right?
kioti
Yea it was. I did a complete rebuild of the motor for my buddy and 2 months later it was stolen. I ended up getting it in trade for work I did on his other jeeps. Runs great still got a few small things to finish up. Our first club run is Memorial day weekend. It will be the first run I have it out.
