88whitemanche
Will the 98 Dakota 4cyl valve cover upgrade work on a 2000 tj?
onlyinajeep726
As long as it's a 2.5L.

88whitemanche
Well I did the valve cover upgrade on the tj now we have a big problem or really a question.... I noticed that the transmission was missing the bell housing cover that cover the front of the transmission.... Does one off a 2.5 xj fit on there? 88whitemanche
It has the external slave cylinder...idk if it's the ax5 or the nv3550
onlyinajeep726
As long as said XJ has a AX4 or AX5, or any Jeep with a 2.5L and AX4/5 combo, it should work. The NV3550 uses the same bell as the AX15, so that would be a no-go on fitment. Doesn't make a difference if it's an internal or external slave. It's just a dust shield.
