LocoJeeper Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I am trying to figure out which lift kit to get for my MJ. I am swapping in a D44 and plan to install bushwacker flares and want to run 33" tires. I am kinda torn between the RC 4.5" and RE 5.5" kit. Being over twice the price, the RE kit has a loyal following and a lot of information as to what is included. Anyone have an opinion on the RC kit? Does it include the rear perches ("flip kit"... from the web site), and what about the D44? My plan for the vehicle is daily driver... and I want just enough lift to get 33's to fit, not going to wheel it anymore then green easy trails maybe twice a year.
pingpong Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I have a rough country kit on my XJ and it rides rough :brows: I would not recommend that kit to anyone who daily drives his rig.
JeepcoMJ Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 i have RC 3" lift on two of my comanches...and i love it. it feels stable and the front end is great...i don't like the AAL's as they got stiff and don't offer lift anymore.
