2.5L 4X4 Swap & A/c

I have an '86 2.5L manual Comanche, and just bought an '84 2.5L manual Cherokee parts car for the 4x4 and A/C.  I assume this will work even though the '84 has differences (carb vs TBI), but if anyone knows if either of these swaps are not straight forward between these trucks, please let me know before I get too deep into it.

From what I've seen, the AC should be the same.

 

I would not want the disconnect front axle nor would I want the inner slave on the trans........but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

'84 XJ should be external slave. The ones I've had pre '87 have all been external. I even converted an internal slave bell to external with the parts from another one and I drilled the bell for the pivot ball I got from the "HELP!" rack.
