Installing Sound System

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone! I'm currently installing a non corroded and fully functional fuse box.

So, I figure while I have everything apart I should wire up a good stereo too. I was thinking on putting in this head unit

hooked up to the two door speakers, two rear speakers, and one or two small subs behind the seat.

My questions are: is this head unit work for what I want to do? What speakers and subs would be good for this setup?

I don't mind spending some money but nothing to crazy expensive.

Thanks!

what He said, To power any sub you'll need a stand alone amp. Which will be hooked up directly to your battery. A new head unit  will be a huge upgrade over your stock head unit, more power and a lot better sound.

When I get to sound I'll be using two digital amps to power the sub(s) and speakers which I think gives you the best quality when properly tuned
