Burntoast914
So I hear that rear zj coil springs will lower my front end, but I'm not certain how much of a drop it is. I'm looking to get about 1.1/2 to 2" drop. Also which shocks help it lower it. I'm looking to buy new shocks but also heard they sell lowering shocks. Excuse my stupidness I'm just new to trucks n American made cars.
wvzj
I would guess they would lower you around 2". A front to rear swap on a ZJ gives you three inches out back, so if you would put the stock rear ZJ coils in the front of a Zj they should lower it three inches. ZJ coils give around an inch or so of lift in a XJ/MJ, so ZJ rears should give you around a 2" drop? Sounds good... For your shocks I would just measure your stockers and get some that are 2" shorter or you could probably run what ya got since it's a pavement pounder. wvzj
Parts store should have a book with all the dimensions from the manufacturer, or you can look for the catalog online depending what brand you wanted to go with

jpcomanche22
Get a set of tj front coils it'll drop about 1½ and there the right size and spring rate just measure the length from eye to eye and order a shock from a Napa honestly stock shocks will be fine at that amount of drop. I also have a stock set of tj springs pm me
