Blue88Comanche Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 it was also available on the dana 35. to check if you have one without removing the diff cover, jack the rear of the truck so both tires are off the ground. you may need to put the truck in neutral... spin one tire clockwise, if the other tire spins counter clock wise it is an open diff, if they spin the same direction it a limited slip, (or locked, spooled) if it is the original LSD odds are it needs to be rebuilt. If so, is there a way to check if it's working? As a sidenote, almost every export MJ either got the AMC-20 or D44 rear axle as standard equipment.
